I haven’t been up to much the last couple of weeks. Cruising through the work for Tmii, which keeps on coming and doesn’t give me time for much else. Preston’s been really fun, and so lots of my time is spent being Dad - cooking, playing…
Belinda is now carrying another baby! That’s pretty exciting… it’s early days so far. We don’t get what this ‘wait-until-12-weeks’ hooha is all about, so everybody will find out pretty soon.
On the gaming front, I haven’t had a lot of time (so I haven’t played much rock band!) I’ve checked out MGS4, which is pretty tough to figure out for a newcomer, so is on the back-burner until I read the manual and get a bigger stretch of time. I’ve also been trying out eye of judgment and I really quite like it. Maybe it’s my TCG tendencies - cause the game presentation (music / voice acting etc) is terrible… but I still enjoy playing the game.
One thing I did in the weekend was take some time out to read All*Star Superman vol 1 (2006). It was a pretty good read, and now that I reflect on it, there was some nice storytelling in it. Good points of tension, with Lois snooping around Superman’s new fortress, and Clark trying to interview a busy Lex.
I’ve also been watching a fair bit of the NBA finals, Lakers vs Celtics. I’m rooting for the Celtics to win, but the longer LA hangs on, the more games we’ll get to watch!
